They generate heat through a fan process that sucks in cold air, and then warms it by emitting infrared light. This is more secure than burning wood as it does not create carbon monoxide.

Flamerite Luma LED Wall Mounted
This stunning contemporary electric fire suite is designed to be mounted directly on the wall. There is no chimney or inset are required. Ideal for dining rooms and lounge rooms and also extensions that have been recently constructed. Simply attach it to the wall and plugs into a standard electric socket for full functionality. Available in Ivory Cream, Pastel Grey or a selection of Radia Flame 3D LED or Nitra Flame 7.
The Radia Flame option features a glowing, bright flame and deep fuel reflection in warm tones of yellow and orange that evoke the look of an actual fire.
